Valentine heart cakes Print Recipe Print Recipe

I heart you.  Happy Valentines day my loves!

How to make heart shaped pancakes:

1. Spray heart shaped cookie cutter with non-stick spray

2. Place cookie cutter in the center of the pre-heated [flat] pan

3. Depending on the size of your heart, pour pancake mixture just enough so that it makes the shape of a heart – do not fill the height of the cutter, just the width.

4. Once you see a few air bubbles come to the top, about 2-3 minutes, carefully remove the cookie cutter – may need to wiggle it a bit.

5. With a spatula, flip over our pancake. Finish cooking – about 2 minutes

6. Remove and continue process until the pancake batter is done. *If you have more than 1 cookie cutter, you may do more than one at a time.

ENJOY!

*pancake recipe to come, stay tuned.

ps. STILL no computer = making blog post very difficult. I’ll be back to my usual posting soon.

Happy Valentine’s Day! These pancakes are adorable and such a cute idea to use cookie cutters! Way easier than trying to pour pancakes in heart shapes! And good luck with the computer fiasco- hope it gets betters soon!
